Bond University Japanese Society (BUJS) is a student run society to promote and enhance a better understanding of Japanese culture, history and tradition inside and outside the Bond University community. The society is open for membership to all students, not just the Japanese.
BUJS desires to create an outlet for the Japanese community on campus and friends to openly discuss topics of Japanese lifestyle and current events, and to give university students, unfamiliar with Japanese culture, the opportunity to experience it.
Our goal is to spread the Japanese contemporary culture, its history, beliefs and traditions to students in a fun and informative environment by holding various events at which will promote cultural awareness, and facilitate support for Japanese students both academically and socially.
